Lent 2026 Book Study

We invite you to join us on Wednesdays in Lent as we gather to explore the easter story from the perspectives of those who were on the scene.
This year we will be reading An Unlikely Lent by Rachel Billups.

Our time together will begin in the library at noon. We will share a delicious lunch of soup and rolls and then we will dive into reflections on the book. Together we will discover that the resurrection is not just a past event but and invitation into something new, unexpected, and unlikely.
Please mark your calendars and join us for this study.

be on Wednesdays, Feb 25, Mar 4, 11, 18, and 25.
Keep an eye out for sign-up sheets for soups and rolls.
Will you come and explore our baptismal covenant with us? We hope you will!

The reading schedule is as follows:
February 25: Introduction and Chapter 1: Unlikely Offering
March 4: Chapter 2: Unlikely Opposition
March 11: Chapter 3: Unlikely Freedom
March 18: Chapter 4: Unlikely Companionship
