The long-awaited renovation and upgrade of the church floor will begin on Monday March 17th and continue through to Friday April 5th. The floor will be installed in three phases. During this period, the Sanctuary (altar), Chancel, Transept, Nave, and Narthex (that is, the entire worship area) will be a construction site and off limits to all except for the contractors.

PLEASE NOTE
8 and 10 a.m. Sunday services on March 23rd and March 30th
will take place in Griffith’s Hall.
Tuesday and Thursday services will take place in the Library.
Friday Stations of the Cross will also take place in the Parish Hall.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Will the office be open on weekdays?
Yes. Regular office hours will continue during the installation of the floor.
Where will the choir vest on Sundays?
Yes. The choir will continue to vest and lead us in worship in the parish hall.
Without access to the church or sacristy, how will the altar guild prepare for worship?
All necessary supplies from the sacristy will be secured in a safe location in the library. The altar guild will prepare for Sunday worship using the kitchen and tables in the library.
If the church doors (on Roper Ave) are locked how do we access the Griffith’s Hall?
There are several entry points:

Access will be through the double doors off Foster Lane on the east side of the office, or,

Go up the ramp and proceed through the library

Enter through the gate on the west end of the parish hall (on Foster Street) and into the doors on the south side of the parish hall
Way-finding signs will guide you.
Will the Labyrinth still be available in Griffith’s Hall on March 15 and 16?
Yes.
Will the Seniors’ lunch in Griffith’s Hall still be held on Thursday March 20th?
Yes
How much will the new flooring cost?
The cost of the new floor is projected to be near $20,000. This includes the cost of the flooring contractor as well as other contract labor to move and reinstall the pews.
Where will the funds come from to pay for this project?
This project will be paid through the parish development fund and the building fund. And, we welcome any contributions by the parish to help offset the cost of this of this effort.
