Join us on Saturday, December 7 from 10:00 a.m. to noon for a presentation from the Alzheimer Society.
Members of our Pastoral Care Committee have invited the Alzheimer Society to present information in support of caregivers. Many of us have cared for loved ones struggling with Alzheimer's and dementia. It's often easy to overlook our own needs as caregivers. This presentation will provide an opportunity to discuss personal challenges, guilt, and grief of being a caregiver. Together we will learn how to recognize the signs of burnout, the importance of self-care, and how to build resilience.
